You know, there are a lot of Christmas songs that get covered, new artist, new interprtation, same song, year after year. However, there is one song that, in all the years I've been listening (and loving) Christmas music, I have only heard one version. One recording. That song is Skip Ewing - Christmas Carol. It's an amazingly sad story about a young girl looking for a family during the holiday season, because "...I don't know who my daddy is and mommy's gone away." And wouldn't you know, she's telling Santa Claus this. I'm not going to ruin the ending, that's what the link is for. However, it's a Christmas song, so you can assume that everything ends up ok.
